A few short years ago a group of friends got together at Grounds For Thought, thirsty for more than just coffee. They dreamed of art, connection, growth, community, love. They dreamed of Pride- right here in our own college town of Bowling Green, Ohio.
Today, we celebrate that dream, and we come together as a community to honor it. We are proud and honored to continue to host the annual BG Pride festival. It's bigger, better, and brighter than ever. Everyone is welcome here.

There are so many things that we use throughout the festival, from batteries to badges to tickets to trash bags. If you're looking for a way to contribute without needing to commit any time, this is a great way to help!
We will post a supply wishlist soon. Stay tuned.
There are countless ways to help out during the festival. We need volunteers to help setup, work stations, assist vendors, run security, pickup trash, and more.

The love we have for one another- for our partners, our families, our friends, our communities, the organizations fighting for our rights, our bodies, our homes... We believe at the heart of it all, Pride is a celebration of love.
As we move into this Pride season, we reflect on the meaning of this annual festival. Its history, its purpose, its path forward. Times may be difficult and scary, but we still have each other; that is what we must remember. And so we have focused our efforts to make this Pride the most community-centered BG has seen yet.
We're hosting a new event each month leading up to the festival, with each one highlighting the talented artists of our local community. Drag is a huge part of it- a crowd-pleasing party expressing queerness in all its glory. The fine arts and crafts are also to be enjoyed as we partner with the Transcendence Artists Coalition.
Pride itself is featuring our first-ever Community Stage. This addition welcomes performers beyond drag to let loose their talent, and we're incredibly excited to show you what's in store. You truly won't want to miss it.
Our latest issue of Out & About - BGO Pride's quarterly publication - has us sit down with members of the community to explore the many aspects and meanings of Pride. You'll hear from our President, Jordan Musgrave, 2-1-1 director Sandra De Steno, and local artist Charlotte Reith.
Art. Connection. Growth. Community. Love. Healthcare. Protest. History. Belonging...
